Geotechnical laboratory

Geotea Srl has a geotechnical laboratory authorized to the implementation and certification of tests on soil by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT) - Higher Council of Public Works - Central Technical Service, according to Art. 59 Presidential Decree no. 380/2001 - Circular 7618 / STC.

The current Technical Regulations for Construction (NTC 2018) state that the investigations and tests for characterization and geotechnical modelling (paragraph 6.2.2) must be carried out and certified by laboratories conforming to Art. 59 of the DPR June 6, 2001, n. 380. The authorized laboratories are recorded in a list registered within the Central Technical Service of the Infrastructure Ministry.

In full accordance with law requirements, all geotechnical tests necessary for defining the physical, volumetric and mechanical soil can be carried out in our laboratories.

The staff employed in our geotechnical laboratory is capable of managing large quantities of samples and to perform all the required tests in a short time.

During all phases of work, from taking charge of the samples at our facility to the final certificate of analysis, Geotea provides assistance, advice, professionalism, speed and availability in the management and resolution of all the issues that arise during construction.
